Information Overload?
Experienced information overload in the info marketing space?
The problem with the internet is it makes so much information readily available and accessible. This is as true, if not more so, in the information marketing space.
As a thought provoking read, I would highly recommend the reports produced by Rich Schefren. Rich puts together very high quality documents that make you think. Particularly, ‘Internet Business Manifesto’, ‘The Attention Age Doctrine’ and ‘The Maven Matrix Manifesto’
This is not something you need to act on right away but should certainly be aware of and if you have specific skills that can turn you in to a market maven, then something I would highly recommend. Again, this is something I might be able to demonstrate first hand at a later stage. So keep watching these posts….
To The Here And Now
Cutting through all the clutter is important.
No doubt, like everyone else, I have found it difficult to zero in on what is most relevant to get me up and running and succeeding now.
Or is this just an excuse for inaction?
For instance, there have been a lot of very successful and high profile product launches recently. Mostly by highly successful internet marketing guys, such as the guys at StomperNet, Frank Kern, Jeff Walker, Rich Schefren, Shawn Casey & Tellman Knudson to name a few. Problem is, that most of this is not relevant to what you and I are trying to achieve in the very early days.
With out bringing the wrath of these guys upon me as a complete inexperienced newbie, that is not to say it is irrelevant but much of this just adds to our information overload at this stage and ability to take action NOW and get going. The point is, we need to get started with a gameplan that is flexible enough to evolve rapidly and as we start making MONEY. After all, that is why we are doing this….not to become masters of the universe in one fell swoop.
As an aside, these guys have all demonstrated enormous success, so certainly watch what they are doing but there is a time & place. You will see certain traits repeated and utilised by all of them, so that is a great pointer as to what works. A great saying by Armand Morin, is that “success leaves traces”. We will talk more about Armand Morin in another post. I deliberately didn’t mention his recent launch and of course Big Seminar.
What do I need to know and understand NOW is the key question?
From what I have personally gone through, the single most imporatnt thing is TO DO SOMETHING, because by actually doing, you start to focus and understand. I am going to help by offering something that will let you get started almost straight away, as it has for me. It is very high value, straightforward, inexpensive and will let you start learning and getting first hand experience.
Question is, what are you looking to achieve?
- Is internet marketing important for the future of your offline business?
- Are you looking to earn a secondary income to support you through these difficult times?
- Do you want to build a serious internet business that becomes your primary focus?
In my case, I want to turn my existing business in to a highly automated , web centric business and more importantly, I want to build a serious internet business that is highly successful but requires few people to operate and manage. I think that last point is the ultimate about a well run internet business.
In subsequent posts I am going to talk about key aspects/steps that I believe you need to get right immediately to set yourself up & get started. Also included, will be tools and resources I have found essential or atleast, helpful.
I will intersperse this with ongoing real life examples and information as I move forward.
I plan on posting something later that you should really take a look at to get you started or move you ahead from where you are now.
As ever,
To our shared success,
Ron

Hey Ade,
I took a look at your info - couldn’t agree more.
I would also highly recommend the free list building videos that Shawn Casey & Tellman Knudson put together.
Thought it was a bit too early at this stage but will certainly be talking about this more and as is the plan with this blog, actually demonstrating how we implement some of this stuff and make it work.
So, keep an eye out here, as yes, we WILL be talking about this most critical topic and adding some other valuable content to boot….
Watch this space…..
To success!
